I know that eveyone stays up at night thinking about the design for my tube bed like I do

Well, no more sleepless night for you because there will be no more tube bed :shaking:
The original idea was to bob the rear of the bed becuase I want it to look like a truck and not a buggy. Then I figured out that I would have to bob the rear AND the front of the bed just to beat it to death and then replace with a tube bed. This was also when I saw the pics of the Ballistic Taco's sweet ass and wanted to do something like that. So the plan was to sell the bed and use the money to buy tubing.
Now, Im not sure if I like my rear springs or not and if I design my tube frame around them, it will be a lot of wasted tube, $$$, and time if I decided to swap them out. Between wanting to keep the factory frame for now, liking the look of beat down trucks better than buggies, and being better with a cutoff wheel than a bender

, were are going with dovetailed bed skins.
I talked to my free labor/body work guy and he said he didnt mind helping me work on a bed-skins/ dove tail project that would probably be destroyed in a year, so game on this weekend.
. . . playing on the internet and making this decision is all of the work that Ive done to my truck this week
