Add slee brackets for the forward tabs to attach to. Mount bumper to frame. Leave everything loose to get it lined up.
Two bolts on the rear
I had to ask the passenger side why it wasn't fitting with a bottle jack. It was rubbing on the body although all the adjustments were towards the passenger side. I jacked it until it was tweaked enough to clear the body.
I'm taking it out tomorrow to do another shakedown run with the added weight. The 863s with all the junk in the trunk msagged a 1/4" maybe.. I will post better profile pics etc tomorrow afternoon.
When I bought my Slee rear w/carrier, I ran it for a short time w/o the carrier installed ... Later, when I started putting on the needed hardware to complete the carrier...I noticed that the pads would have been nearly impossible to install after the main bumper was already on the vehicle.
Thank goodness Christo mentioned this when I was talking to him about only adding the main bumper first ! I owe him one for that suggestion !!
So all in all I'm very happy with the bumper and tire carrier. It didn't at all and was very stout. On to the front bumper and winch now. I will post up some pics tomorrow of the rear bumper; after dragging it all afternoon..
Yes a STOCK 80... (the only stock vehicle on this trail) I won't say it was from impatience. We both agree the Stock 80 would have made it if we had waited and continued to rock it on the nerf bars for another hour. The first attempt... bull was just spinning his tires... the second atempt I had some good traction, but without his tow wouldnt have made it. My kid slept through it.
This was a fun trip...
You only see what happened outside his 100 series... the real adventure was inside... and Bull had nothing to do with it.
