Chunk is for sale.

Lots of good and lots of not so good.
This won't be like my comprehensive, past for sale threads.

Comes with a fair amount of extras including donor metal
for the pass. rocker, a better front door for that side, full
rust repair panels (with dogleg) for the rear wheel wells
Interior is pretty good...dash has a molded dash cover on it.
Driver seat is a pass. seat on driver brackets and is the
roughest of the seats. Just put a new MAF 2.5" catback
exhaust on it and a "test pipe" to replace the cat.
Most smog equipment is present other than the cat
and the vanes in the air pump are removed.

Pretty sure the engine failure was head-based...sucked
a valve maybe...don't know for sure but after a lot of clatter,
was running on 5 cylinders. No oil slick, no coolant puddle,
no galley plug failure, no overheat. Not even really smoking
or anything...just something audibly let go.

First $2500 and a lowboy trailer get's the whole Kit & Kaboodle.

I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I'll post what pics I have and take more upon request.

ATTENTION: Check Post #21 for new BONUS PRIZE OFFER :)

PRICE DROP - $2000

It could just need head work and a HG...but I'm not going to be the one that digs
into it to find out. It's not seized. It will start and run on 5 to get onto a trailer or
into a shop.

I know the rings are probably shot due to blow-by oil in the air cleaner assembly
so the motor is tired in addition to being somewhat broken.

Mileage is about 234K

If you decide to part it, I’m interested in the snorkel and air intake assembly, providing it’s connected using a non USA style intake. LMK, thanks!

@SEAWOLF

No plans to part out at this point, but the snorkel is incomplete...
Only the outer portion exists. When I bought the truck, it came
with only the outer portion...story was that it needed a front clip
due to the existent front fenders (at that time) having been cut for large tires,
and the best pass. fender the PO had was cut for a snorkel so
it came with outer portion of the snorkel as well.

Just saw this in Parts for Sale

Edit: referenced engine/combo sold...

I just don't have the time, workspace or "incidental" income
to tackle it. Truth be known, with a 2.5 year old stomping around,
I've been trying to get into a 100 Series anyway.

EDIT - 05/21/18: Compression numbers are up on that power train
for sale in Telluride...looks nice and even across the board (as claimed).

I'd be interested but it's too far away for me to make it worthwhile.
all the pics are nice, plus all the extras,

No problem, I get it...spend half that much in gas just to get down here
and back up with it.

If it were still running, I'd meet you in Fort Smith and float the Bighorn
for a couple days, then fly back ;)

Keep in mind guys and gals...

I'm not claiming this is a $2500 cruiser...

More accurately, I'm claiming that this is an $1800 cruiser
that comes with $600-$700 worth of somewhat difficult to source,
"value-added" items already acquired...

2X repair panels for the rear wheel wells
1X replacement door for the passenger front
1X Donor metal for the pass. rocker panel (with section of B pillar for proper fit)
1X New MAF 2.5" catback exhaust (installed)
1X New MAF "Test Pipe" (installed)

as well a a number of little Odds & Ends like NOS plastic wiper arm grommets,
plastic interior door handle inserts, etc.

Chunk is definitely no spring chicken or trailer queen...but he isn't salvage yard
fodder either ;)

FYI there is an engine with bell housing and 4 speed listed not far from me (in Vermont) for $650. Believe it came out for an engine swap.
