different years, early F engines had the oil filter on the driver side bolted to the intake it used a cartridge type filter. then went to a spin on filter then with the F and a 1/2 motor and 2F it was moved to the pass side.
 
I,ve noticed in some engines a oil filter bolted to the intake and the solinoid on top. why is this ? Is there an advantage? My oil filter is on the opposite side. Is it worth getting an adaptor or not?(where do you get them if so)
Never mind that oil filter post some pics of that cool cruiser you have, I have been searching for pics for it with no luck.
