They will drop in like a large version of a drilled rivet would. I have some in mine someplace but the insulation has trapped them. I haven't worried about it.

Great, at least I know what to expect. As long as they don't rattle, it's all good.
Thought i might add this idea since i didn't see it as an option. Years ago i was a bodyman and we got an old cop car in the shop that needed all the holes in the roof filled from the lightbar. They didn't want to remove the headliner so i soldered the holes shut with a big soldering iron my boss had. It looked like the kind they used for woodburning hobby. Just knocked the hole in a little to countersink it and cut a little piece of sheetmetal to cover the hole and soldered it in. My boss was an old timer that used to do lead for filler. might be able to get the metal hot enough with a couple of the small electronics irons if you don't have a big iron. Back in the old days they used to fill in some pretty big gaps with lead solder. I think thats a better repair than silicone
