As a few know I bought tampacruisers 2008 Landcruiser.
Until last night I had only sat in the front seat of a 200 one time, never driven one, never worked on one.
Coming from a heavily modified 100 series this thing is light years ahead.
Pre installed mods are (if I remember them all)
TJM front bumper
Kaymar rear bar
Slee sliders
Bud built stage 3 full aluminum skids
Nitro 4.88 gears
Harrop rear e-locker
LRA 24 gal aux fuel tank
Tough dog suspension
Rock warrior wheels and 285/70 nitto g2
Pedal commander
I bought it sight unseen and it’s everything it was supposed to be. I had it shipped directly to my window tint guy and had the windows all retinted with 5% ceramic and 35% ceramic on the windshield. It’s my style, I know some will judge but I hate sunglasses.
My girlfriend drove it as we delivered a car to the detailer for my boss. She continued to drive it for the rest of the night and wouldn’t let me in the driver seat.
I turned down the pedal commander because she has a heavy foot and she was very pleased with it. To the point when we got home she said “ok let’s sell my Jeep and keep both Landcruisers”. The original plan was to sell my 100 series after purchasing this one and swapping some things over. But sounds like we are selling the rubicon and having two cruisers now.
Throughout the 100 miles we put on it yesterday I noted a couple things I’d like to change.
First I’d like the small fog lights in the tjm to come on with the factory switch, they are currently on a factory style push button and constant powered. Not a big deal, couple wire swap and I’m good to go.
Other thing is I’d like to have the LRA switch on 12v switched power not the constant like it is. Also not a huge concern, just a simple fix.
Overall this rig was done very right And the installs are very well executed.
Pictures of how it sits today before I start changing things.
