Almost a year later a thread update.. I kinda forgot I even had this thread.

It’s had a few oil changes, got 35s. Added a pair of Baja design LP6 spots. Hard wired the pump for the 24gallon tank to a dedicated switch.

Today it got new plugs at 238,800. Not sure if they have been changed as it didn’t look like the bolts had been out.. definitely haven’t been changed since 100k if they have. No running issue just maintenance before another big road trip.

This thing gets 4-500 miles a week put on it. We still enjoy it every day.

It is currently pissed about Evap again and it points to the charcoal canister I put in last summer. So clearing the codes for now and I’ll pull the aux tank after the trip.

Rig is looking good, certified tank!

That's a nice looking rig.
We cyclists appreciate it greatly when people with tinted windows lower them as we approach so that we can verify eye contact and make sure we're not going to get drilled. A friendly wave helps us all share the road and get home safely. Just a suggestion.
Happy trails.
So does using dedicated bike paths 😜

I’m very conscious of this.

I realize not all people like dark windows, so I try to be mindful

Got any photos from a better angle?

Roof rails deleted to fit in the garage? Love the "streamlined" look 🤭

Nope. Just in daily mode. It has a roof tent for trips. I just take it all off as I like the clean roof.. for one or twice a year I can move some bolts around.

And honestly until today I wasn’t sure if it would fit in the garage 😂 I THINK it will

Love it... but those headlights could use a buffing!

IIRC, for 2008-2011 LCs a new pair of headlights from Toyota is $400. IMO, that's well worth the $$$ to update the look of the vehicle and not having to buff old lenses every season 🙂 Might even make some of that back selling the oldassemblies.

I’ll have to look into that.. i thought I saw them for like $700 each

are the mirrors wrapped?

i would also like to delete my roof rack but keep reading threads on people losing some nut ant bolt then have to fish through headliner etc …

Mirror are just black. I assume it’s oem.

I have had my roof rack off and on a few
Times.. I have dropped the nut assembly once and fished it out. It wasn’t overly terrible. About a 20 minute delay.

Get a set of these and you won't have to worry about losing the nut bracket. The first time i changed out my rack i lost one, i had to drop the headliner a bit to fish it out, took about 45min extra. Purchased these before i installed my Gamiviti rack and had no issues.

Thank you will order those up!

Albeit I have no idea what to do with those, or how they work on a roof rack, but ordered!
