Installed my winch tonight at after dinner. Took less than two hours with basic hand tools. Now to spool the line tight.

Dangit I want some of these.

Great looking rig you have there. With the Kaymar tire swing out, are you able to open the top half of the rear hatch if the tire isn’t mounted on the (closed) swing out?

Can that Kaymar swing out be added without the bumper?
Meaning-can you add that while still using the stock bumper?

Can you link to the pricing?
Admittedly the Kaymar is by far one of the best looking, if not the best looking rear bumper but if I can get the spare tire out from underneath to add a tank without the huge cost of a rear bumper then that seems like a win to me.

Seems like you just lost a reflector.

All the benefits minus increased clearance but none of the weight penalty.

Here is a list of offered products. You just need a us dealer to order from. I used Long Range America. Although had I known Jason was a dealer at ozark overland adventures I would have ordered through him.

I guess I forgot the link..

Almost a year later a thread update.. I kinda forgot I even had this thread.

It’s had a few oil changes, got 35s. Added a pair of Baja design LP6 spots. Hard wired the pump for the 24gallon tank to a dedicated switch.

Today it got new plugs at 238,800. Not sure if they have been changed as it didn’t look like the bolts had been out.. definitely haven’t been changed since 100k if they have. No running issue just maintenance before another big road trip.

This thing gets 4-500 miles a week put on it. We still enjoy it every day.

It is currently pissed about Evap again and it points to the charcoal canister I put in last summer. So clearing the codes for now and I’ll pull the aux tank after the trip.

I get that comment ALOT but honestly I guess I’m just used to it. I will say having them all dark makes it easier than just some dark.

I also dim my dash lights and can turn off the screen to help. Interior light seems to hurt when you have dark tint. To me it makes it harder to focus.

You need to bring this thing up to a TAC event so I can see it. Looks great.

That's a nice looking rig.
We cyclists appreciate it greatly when people with tinted windows lower them as we approach so that we can verify eye contact and make sure we're not going to get drilled. A friendly wave helps us all share the road and get home safely. Just a suggestion.
Happy trails.
