Anyone know if the master or slave cylinders are problematic? I can’t image it’s the transmission
I need to pump the clutch a few times to put it in the gear other than that still runs fine. Just curious if anybody had any similar symptoms

Yes. Change both slave master and slave cylinder. Rock Auto. Aisin brand

Yes, most likely the master. If you look under the dash where the rod comes through the firewall I bet you see brake fluid. As said, replace both, AISIN at Rockauto.

Have you tried bleeding it first?

Change the rubber line as well when you do the slave. It could be letting air in the system if its started to crack.

Be sure to bench bleed the master. I made up a piece of bake line that wraps up and down into the master reservoir. Then I slowly pump the clutch pedal which gets all the pesky air pockets out. Quickly undo the bleeding line and thread in the clutch line. Continue to bleed as usual.
