Pre 03 Factory NAV to Double Din, Climate Knobs Conversion?

Okay kids.... I need a 100 owner in the bay area who has a 2002 -2007 Land cruiser to come forward and volunteer for a system inspection. I need to see first hand the connectors and nomenclature of the current Nav system.

[EDIT] I need the car for two-three hours and of course you are welcome to watch.

I realize this is two different cars but I'm going to try to do a solution for both vehicles. If you are interested in ditching your factory nav this will be the first step.

Let me check, I think I do, but it is page by page with no index since I saved pages off of the subscription service. If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro you could stitch it together. PM me your email address.

I've been searching local junkyards for 98-05 with climate control without GPS. I've been studying this thread and correct me if I'm wrong but does the 98-05 climate control with knobs plug-n-play?

If not...can you please post which dash works with what year?

You'll need 98-2002 3 knob or electronic controller from 2000 LX470.
