Hello, long time follower first time poster.
I imported what I thought to be my dream cruiser from Japan. I was active duty navy so I bought it in Japan and imported when I PCS'ed.
Little did I know what a PITA it would be to find a modern stereo option for this thing! I can't find any way to add bluetooth capability to the stereo. I tried getting a GROM but it didn't fit and I looked at the USA SPEC models but they don't work with a 98 nav stereo.
I also looked at this smartytrend option but it doesn't work. I will post a photo of the back of my stereo in case anyone here has had any luck either finding a replacement stereo or a bluetooth module that works. I know there is a way to factory swap the stereo for the non-nav stereo but all that wire splicing looks intimidating.
I currently streaming music through FM which sounds terrible. PLEASE HELP IH8MUD you're my only hope!
