I'm guess this isn't normal to have end play in the PS pump?
Just noticed it while doing belt, tensioner etc
Thanks

Thanks, it's not doing the typical whine that a failing pump would make.I can't find a spec in the manual. The shaft is held in via snapring on the far side of the vane pump rotor, with the shaft going through two bushings instead of a bearing, so it is plausible that some end play is normal.
Personally if it isn't making noises I think you are good to go. PS pumps like to sing out loud when they aren't happy.
