Need deep in a power steering conversion.

Green Line has said they can modify provided lines.

What other options are there in Victoria? I’ve got three different pumps, but no fittings for the box end.

@Toshi38, did you say PA can make them?

Rock Auto can ship me new Gates lines for about $50. They should fit the box, but I don’t know about the pressure end on the pump. That said, I have three different pumps with different connections… so the odds are slightly better.

Recommendations?

When I did mine I got a do it yourself kit from lordco, lines plus pressure fittings each sold separately since I had a Toyota pump with a caddilac box or something like that...

Do yourself a favour and get adapters to AN -6 and get lines made anywhere.

Good to know. Based on the prices of lines at Bumper to Bumper, and fittings an Princess Auto I decided to buy Gates Scout II lines this afternoon. The pair of lines were $47 including shipping. 3 of 4 ends should fit perfectly. The lines are a decent length and the bends at the ends will work.

The high pressure line going to the pump has male threads and an inverted taper. I’ve got pumps with female threads & an O-ring seal or a male taper and male threads.

The first option would be one of these:

Or alternatively, a female to female couple and the male taper and male threads. Once the lines arrive I’ll see what I’ve got space for.

Alternatively, I’ll see if Green Line can change the end on P/S pump pressure end to an O-ring type.

That sounds great… but I’ve already ordered Gates OEM equivalent lines. Fingers crossed that it’ll all work out.

Here’s the Borgesen P/S one…

Now to find one in Victoria. Gary at Lordco figured they have them… fingers crossed.

If I can find one, I can use off the shelf lines and don’t need custom ones.

Unfortunately the coupler at Lordco was a male O-ring to male AN fitting. I’ve already got the equivalent fitting without buying a coupler… and I believe there won’t be enough space for extra adapters.

Right across the street from lordco on burnside.
I’ll have to check them out. I’ve seen them there, but Coast Industrial (Green Line) has been my first stop for years.

Edit:
It looks like they have just the fitting I need… if I have enough space.

I’ll know once the new lines arrive. If a $20 fitting will solve it, I’d be happy.

Bought a steel version of the above.

Coast industrial indicated the brass fittings do I paid a couple bucks more for the steel one.

And the lines from Rock Auto. Gates lines made the beginning of this year.

The local shops said they’re NLA and speculated that RA must have bought up old stock… apparently not the case.

These lines were the perfect length for a V8 install. They may not be long enough for a straight 6.
