Ya I have an electric excavator which is pretty nice... I've got a 20hp motor sitting here that I've been thinking of converting an old tractor with... Would save a bundle on lawn cutting...

Yep, I hear you on the commuting thing. My fiancee is learning quickly how much I enjoy buying new vehicles... Bought two last week 😅 One is strictly a commuter... Found a deal on a 2017 e-golf and figured we might as well give it a try. She's...

I only have the pickup, and 40, not a troopy (yet). More or less done nothing, just oil changes and changed the oil in the trans and transfer case, it's my daily driver at the moment. Have a pile of spare parts just need to find time to...

Got annoyed with finding wiper blades for the truck so finally took a little project. Harvested a couple of wiper arms with some bolt cutters, will see how it goes with these and if it's good will do the same on Andy. Now I can use the cheap...

Luggage. Done aside from vacuuming up all this s***. Winch sounds a lot perkier now. I'm sure it has to be better, I cut about 5' out of the run and probably doubled the wire size. One other minor thing...a holder upper for the battery box...

Had a buddy come by with his motorhome, asked if I could take a look at his brakes... Pulled the rear dually tire off and found this. What do you think? Good for another couple 1000 km?? :grinpimp:

I suspect it was more the general s***tiness of Land Rovers. Zero flex and axles that break at a stop light even with the 53hp engine. and that weird ****ing rotten aluminum/cloth wire slightly burnt with hints of racoon orgy smell they all have.

I have a bj70 rear seat in my 40. To get in for an adult is s***e, getting out is even worse. Put it in there for our little boy who’s pretty stoked on being in the truck. He’s 30 pounds so getting him in and out isnt terrible. I sense a hernia...

Have you seen those little wire bolt fish things? Look like a helicoil, except there's a long ass tail off one end. You thread the bolt into it and then you can use the wire to pull it through into a blind hole. Bought a hitch kit for the...

Well the power steering is bled. No leaks except for my undies. Just straight up winning over here. Minus the undies.

Great to see there is still some interest for the relay! Life got a bit in the way so the progress has been slow, but it is not dead. I plan to just mold the pcb and wire harness in polyurethane potting, to keep the environments out. Very easy...

Have you seen the arc droid? It's pretty cool for a hobbyist... Uses a normal torch, sits off to the side, seems to work well... I've been debating one https://arcdroidcnc.com/

In Sweden they're connected to the plumbing with a rubber seal and either glued or bolted to the floor... Independently from the seal

Kinda crazy how a wax ring is still the way they're sealed... Not to mention just held down by two bolts in a piece of plastic. The mudder in my shop is a scary old thing that looks like it's from the 80s. It's on concrete so I hope like hell...

Ya... I don't use my trailer a ton, but it's pretty handy for moving dirt around and such with the hydraulic dump, and also I can't really fit the excavator in the back of the truck...
