I had an intermittent, momentary power loss under load (specifically, up a slight grade when I gave it a little extra gas) for over a year. The fix was ultimately the upstream O2 sensor. I believe my sensor was intermittently failing, or what I have read online can be called a "lazy" sensor, where it works but not quickly and only acts up occasionally. I think O2 sensors are wear items, I wish I had replaced mine much sooner. That problem frustrated me for a long time.

Ok. So went to a muffler shop we go to. They drilled a 1/2 inch hole in front of 02 in front of cat, did a back flow test and it was terrible. replaced cat and power is back big time. Temp of motor is 4 to 5 deg less and idle is better and spot on at 650 rpm acceleration up hills and from start is awesome.

Simple evaluation and fix!
