Oh yeah she is still on the road and showing no signs of slowing down. Got her with 160k for 500.00 I now have 223k and love every minute I am driving it. Just thought I would chime in.

Overall cheapest was probably 100LC (I think) who paid $500. Just did a 500mi trip to Athens and back then to South Carolina and back; no problems whatsoever at 216k :D

Actually I agreed to pay for the retail cost of the armor and rigging and he threw in the Land Cruiser in for free.

Not even including the new tires, new optima red top and the labor to put all this on.

See math attached.

Wow. We bought ours in West Palm Beach for $10,500 with 106,000 miles on it (rear locker too) and thought we snagged a deal. Apparently I'm a lame deal maker. You guys are killing me.

I think that is pretty fair with lockers and the miles- so no worries there . But I like the atrac, stability control and auto climate control and rear air that the 2000 gives.

2000 landcruiser

Mine has 304,000. I'm the 2nd owner and as far as I know previous owner change transmission, bought it brand new from the dealer. Mostly fwy miles , runs strong .i drove this truck to Vegas few times already. Runs great.

Still on the road I believe, bought from a customer at his dealership.

It happens all the time.

I've bought a few at my dealership, it's always top secret even if it's a POS as the owner views it as steeling from the company. But I always got my managers permission.

'93 Notch back Mustang 5.0 (rare) for $800
'98 Eldorado $300
'99 Vehi Cross $3500
Best on ever was '92 SAAC Mustang for $3500 years ago. My used car manager wouldn't touch it as he thought it was a made up kit as it was not listed in KBB

And I just cracked 246k and looking for tires this week.....285 to 315's????

Mine just hit 209k. I really don't think I've ever replaced the brake pads (bought it with 100k almost 6 years ago).

I retired her from daily driving and got a used Prius for my commute, but I still cheat and take the Cruiser a couple times per week. Seems to keep me more relaxed. Thinking about dropping the Prius and getting one of the v6 Rams for commuting and hauling duties. Don't think I'll ever get rid of the LC even though I've pondered it a few times.

Well I now have 125k on my 2005. Everything baselined within the last year, OME, and maintained by Lexus by the book. Rust free Vegas beast. Hoping to make it trouble free until next T belt water pump change at 200k.

280k on my daily driver with no signs of slowing. Great truck!

662k KM = 411k Miles.

And if it is fJ4ever84's brother's 100, it has a 1FZ-FE engine.

This has to be a joke

No Sir. This is no joke ¡... it has 6i it is not V8... but he change the engine last year... he over play with his big toy..... but best engines comes from Toyota...
I will take pic of my father old LC80....

Dummy me didn't catch the km/h

image-3838700146.webp 200k on the clock... Drives like a dream. Just took it cross-country and back over the last few months. Love this truck so much just traded a Chevy with 85k for 2006 100 with 126k on the meter for my daily driver. Wife thinks I'm crazy, but I'd rather drive a cruiser with over a 100k than a Chevy with under 100k.

As good a place as any to post my first post.
I've used this site many times to get information, I'm really impressed by the depth of knowledge here.

I bought a 1998 LC for my wife about 8 years ago with 77K miles. Starter failed within one week but the dealer repaired it at NC. It now has 187K and has been pretty reliable. I've been able to do all the maintenance myself with the exception of one brake job that the dealer did (and screwed up). Since then I've done the following myself:

Antenna replacement
Brakes front and back
Brake booster (that was a pricey one)
Timing belt and water pump at 110K and 179K. Had to do the WP at 179K so did the belt while I was in there.

The only issue now is the seats are looking really bad. Thinking of getting leather replacements from AATLAS1X for the front and second row.

It's been a great car, just wished it got better mileage.
We've had it in the snow a few times, but I'm embarrassed to say that the only off roading it's done lately is when my wife went rogue and ran over a sign post holder in a center divide. It actually bent the A-arm and the mount needed repairing.
I don't drive it very often, but when I do I'm amazed how smooth and quiet it is.

Welcome to Mud!!! Sounds like you already know how dependable these beasts can be.

700K

I will try to obtain a picture but my friends grandmother (sketchy sounding) has a 98 with 707k. Anyone who works for Toyota dealership near Jackson Mississippi ought to be able to vouch for this. last time I saw he car was in 2011 and it had almost 600k :grinpimp:. she drives a lot of highway miles, her husband flies his plane and she refuses to fly so she drives and meets him a day or two later.
