That's pretty country. We used to take the Scouts to summer camp up in the Abajo Mountains outside Blanding.

Is that as steep as it looks??

While most photos under represent the steepness of hill climbs, in this case I would say yes.

We enjoyed the Blanding area, and found a couple of epic trails I would love to do again: Hotel Rock and Arch Canyon.

Had a great time at Toyota Jamboree. Although one of the guys I was wheeling with sent it a little too hard. Got a nice lesson in recovery.

Got some fun trails done at the Texas Toyota Jamboree over the weekend. Two vehicles after me, a guy in my group rolled his Tundra at this same obstacle. He and the truck were both fine. Glad it wasn't me!

VERY soft and gooey. Had to carry a lot of momentum through the obstacle to avoid getting stuck. The Defender LTX tires didn't exactly love the mud...

Now I understand the iH8MUD forum name...

Nope, the white single cab Taco is Harry. Drew was there but showed in his Tundra and spent the day hanging out / spotting since his Taco is still out of commission.

Silver Lake last month. Drove in as the Jeep Invasion was packing up. Only got stuck once when I misjudged an approach following Test Hill. Not 5 minutes later a lifted Dodge gave me a few yanks until I was out.

Pretty easy to spot someone high-centered way up here!
