clown, that is an awesome pic!! Just wish it was higher res. That now explains why you westerners are twisting driveshafts and bowing rear control arms.

Us eastcoast guys get body damage from sliding into trees and rocks. you guys just land on them.

Birfield or inner axle? I am planning on putting in Longfields when I go to 37s. I think the inners will hold up well but still fail before translating into the diff (which is what I want).

I can swap an axle out as fast as a birf anymore so I am reducing my points of failure to the one that fails least!

my friend john broke his fzj80 inner axle with 33s. he now has longfield birfs and axles and 35s. i think you should go ahead and get the inner axles too

38"DC-44"dc

Hi there. Here is mine on 38"DC for summer and i use 44 in the winter. 14cm lift and a lot of fender hacking. Back axle moved back 13cm, spring and shock braked mowed back and longer suspension arms.

landcrusher, you need some sliders badly!!

Hey FB Fabworks that H3 looks like a toy next to your 80. lol

All super nice rigs. LC Phil and 650, what is the wheel size, bs, and Phill what wheels are those.

Thanks.

Welds Renegade 17" w/ BS 5.25 or 5.5 I cant remember:o and 1 1/2 spacer

LandcruiserPhill, What sliders are you running and also what wheels are those? What size are the wheels and are they the same offset and BS as OEM or did you do something different? I have been trying to find another set of wheels for my BFG MT's and getting a set of Baja TA's for another setup.

Swampers are on OME wheels w/no spacers

Sliders are custom one of a kind

And 44" DC

It did at first, then came lift, wheels and tires. Its my sons new H-3. He came in from Iraq and we built it. Now he's back in Germany so I get to drive it for a few months.
