Got the hard-core bug, BAD...and am planning on going with some 38.5x11 boggers when I get the money. So I'm trying to get and idea of what it's gonna look like with the bigger tires. Include your lift height and trimming, etc.

<insert my truck with 6" slee springs, 17" double bead locks, and 37" MTRs here.>

Now, I will fill in the blank in a few months :)

Here is one of a guy that I have wheeled with in the past. It is a sweet setup.

Note:
He did bust his axleshaft in this picture. He was backing up on this obstacle. All of the weight on the front axle w/ 37" tires = snap.

6" slee lift & 37" XTerrains, have 2" body lift to go in later

ecam, what gears was that guy running? Both of those rigs look great! God I can't wait till I'm one of the "big rigs".

Birfield or inner axle? I am planning on putting in Longfields when I go to 37s. I think the inners will hold up well but still fail before translating into the diff (which is what I want).

I can swap an axle out as fast as a birf anymore so I am reducing my points of failure to the one that fails least!

Put some J springs on with a 2" spacer in the front, cut out the front wheel wells, and put a 4" drop bracket for the bump stop. You can shove 37" Iroks under there and keep your COG real low.

If only I had the mad skillz and resources to trim my fenders like that. Did you extend the factory spring perch bumpstops, or add a block style to the front. I'm also assuming 4" was all around.

Whatever the J spring lift gives you. I think 2.5"s plus a 2" spacer up front to level it out. Just shove a piece of 2x4 tubing on its side with holes drilled into it for the mounting pieces.

To cut the front fender just needs tape, cut off disc and patience.

Can you post a pic of your front bumpstop, I did the tubing thing in the rear, but I'd like to see that style on the front.

....tape, cutoff disc, patience, welder, welding skillz, etc.

We don't run an extended bump stop in the front, just the spacer with the stock bump stop. The wheel wells are cut up enough to where it clears the 37 at full stuff.

All super nice rigs. LC Phil and 650, what is the wheel size, bs, and Phill what wheels are those.

Thanks.

LandcruiserPhill, What sliders are you running and also what wheels are those? What size are the wheels and are they the same offset and BS as OEM or did you do something different? I have been trying to find another set of wheels for my BFG MT's and getting a set of Baja TA's for another setup.

Damnit alkaline, now you are making me jones for 37s :)

Yea, it's makin me want 'em bad too. I figured I just need something to push me over the edge to get the bodylift, and this does it for me.

37x12.50x17 Truxus M/Ts, 17x10 beadlocks with 4.25 bs. Fender trimming coming soon!
