Pop up for 4runner

[My wife said no FJ!]

I've looked, but could not find anything...does anyone know if someone builds a pop up top for a 3rd gen 4Runner?

I know the first pic is an 80, but we are looking for something like this for a 4Runner...maybe even a hard shell like on the 70???

Modified Westy/Vanogon Top. take that idea and actually make something really nice out of the topper. You could even go as far as to contact Corey (slacker) at ToyotaFiberglass.com and get his feedback since he's a whiz w/ the stuff. You never know, make a prototype and he might want to pull a mold from it to produce for people.

Thanks guys for the links! I did see that one Peter...really cool work, but like you said, it was a custom job. I was hoping to find some sort of "kit" that might be available, rather than build my own...

Suffice to say, no one builds a pop up for 3rd gen runner...so it looks like I'll have to find a place to work in, and build my own if we decide to go this route...

Edit: that first pick I posted of that black 80 is what made me think of going with a runner...
