Please help, I have got to get rid of this thing...

With the new cruiser almost back on the road, I am going to need this HJ rolling shell gone ASAP. I am out of time (and money) and need to get home as soon as possible. The front axle was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago, the springs are out of the calif FJ and appear to be after market. The rear axles needs a rebuild but is a good core.

I was asking $300 for it as she sits, but I will take any reasonable offers at this point...seriously, I just need it gone so I can get home. Anyone? Please?

gehn have you considered selling it for scrap metal?? there is a place off highway 178 north of liberty that buys scrap cars.......... just a thought; but it would be a waste of a cruiser

yeah I thought about it. Problem is I'd have no way of getting it there, and as you said it'd be a waste of good parts. If it comes down to that though, i'll have no choice.

ok, I may have found a solution...There is a scrap yard I can take it to that can lift it with a crane off the suspension and axles. So all I need to do it trailer it down there, and then trailer back the axles and springs...

yes they are stock. I will probably end up parting out the front axle for a disk brake "kit", with the Aisin hubs and the third member sold separately. Would you be interested in the "kit" if teh arms go with it?

i was thinking $200 for the knuckles, arms, calipers, rotors, + $100 for the aisin hubs

The whole axle, hub to hub including 3rd: $350
