Hi,

I was checking if the water properly draining on both, the driver and passenger sides of front of the moonrof. For some reason, the water on the driver's side is draining into the rocker panel. I opened the moonroof and checked the driver's side, water wasn't draining as it should. Then, when I was checking the passenger side, I found a starnge piece of plastik (see pictures) in the corner where the drain hole is. I checked the moonroof and didn't see anything broken or something was missing.
What ya all think?

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,
I think that is part of the stop that keeps the cloth moonroof panel from sliding too far forward. They are on both sides (front corners) and are held in place with a single phillips head screw. I don't think they do anything more than preventing the panel from being closed past its intended location. If you close this panel too hard (sepecially in cold weather) they easily break.
