My guess is that the spider gears have chewed the sh@t out of the shaft. It happens. You're gonna have to beat it a LOT to get it out, but you don't really have much choice at this point.
Plan on replacing the 3rd.

Enough of that blasphemy about J@@ps. The same could have happended to one of them but it would be easier to remove by breaking the axles.
sweet! I missed that earlier in the thread. I had this same thing happen to me and lucked out after someone recommended the welding rod technique so I know your frustration.
