Pilot's License

My grandfather surprised me with one the other day that he would like to "sponsor" me to get my pilots license. The Monroe airport has some pretty good resources, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has gone through the training?

Yeah I've looked into it briefly as well. Seems like it would be similar to boating. Lots and lots of money and effort for short bursts of excitement and feelings of freedom and connections with nature.

Worth it.
