Pics and issues

Here are two crappy cell phone pics of my pod. I used grey Rustoleum Hammered paint on it.

I'm having issues with stuffing my pyrometer gauge in the lower (and biggest) position. Also, the two mounting holes don't line up and there doesn't seem to be enough room to mount the grab handle.

I think you'll find with the 3 pod holder, you need to remove some material from the bottom of the grab handle. I remember seeing this on a link somewhere. As for the holes not lining up, I would make sure the pod is fitted in the right spot, mark how much the holes need to be enlarged, check if the grab handle will cover the enlarged holes when fitted & proceed to enlarge the holes.
Cheers, Mike.

Anyone know which SEM vinyl paint matches the headliner material of an LX450? Light oak?

I am only kidding around any way. I do think that a step by step set of installation directions from mudplugger that show and articulate exactly what to do measurement wise etc to enable an installation that mimicks the successful one he designed this off of would be appreciated. imho

They do not seem to be facing the driver. I was looking for a better solution than what I have because mine does not line up and I have to move my head to get the acurate reading. Any other pictures that may show the setup better? :hhmm:

my pillar pod ... in fiber glass

well guys this is just me... let me know your thoughts

I live in Panama and bringing stuff here sometimes it could be expensive (specially from australia) so its time for me to get a little creative and I did a similar version to the one in 4x4 concepts in fiberglass here are some pics

the final cost of the whole thing came up to 60$ installed and everything not bad at all

I sent mudplugger a PM looking to buy one of his pillar mounts. No response as of yet. Are these still available? If so, where can I get one that will work for the 80 series, left hand drive?

Thanks,

Adam
