Status Dave?

same..... parked in the yard until things warm up a bit.

My "Northern" projects are on hold as well. Spring is a comin.

We will have some time as the mud shows itself. Should be dry about June so make that piggy ready for some early summer air.

If you want to just buy it outright I'll ask $5000 obro. Otherwise I'd be more interested in a trade for a 40 in similar shape, or a 60/62/80.

Dave you need to make up your mind. I thought you wanted on open top. Last time I checked none of the 60's, 62's or 80's had an open top. ;p

Dave maybe you should just get an 80

you all have ADD, I've had my 80 since 2000 and pilled on 185,000 miles and still enjoy the time behind the wheel.

This isn't pointed just at you Dave but there is a ton of buying, selling and trading going on. A restless bunch for sure.

We're all basically kids anyway. Once you play with a toy for a while you want another one. Nothing wrong with switching it up...it keeps things fun. Nobody gives Kina a hard time for having 2 dozen cruisers or Randy for buying a troopy after he already has the perfect 40. I bet if Dave kept the 55 and bought a 40 nobody would blink. I honestly can't figure out why anyone cares whether someone else holds on to a truck or sells it.

Good luck Dave! I'll help you sell that 40 when it comes time!

I don't I just think its funny :D as I have done my fair share of it in the past. I probably wouldn't still have my Tacoma but the wife has this strange belief that you buy a car and hold on to it until its pretty much junk :meh: So now I am stuck flipping parts.

On the plus side, I've had the same wife for 13 years and plan to never let her go, and the same house for 10 years and they'll need to take me out feet first.

Cars and trucks though? yeah, I have roving eyes, and it's complicated by the fact that I can only afford—and have room for—one at a time.

I get what Landtank is saying though, no worries. :) :)

I'm pretty much in the "drive it till it dies" camp, partly because I never buy a brand new vehicle, I always get the tail end of the lifecycle. I've had my pickup now since '02, and even though I've had several offers to buy it from me, I always tell them "I'm gonna be buried in that truck". I still have a long list of mods I want to do to it, it's always a work in progress. Someday it will get a full frame-off resto. I'd still have my ol' '84 if it hadn't rusted out from under me. Hell, I'd still have my '63 Pontiac Catalina if I could, I loved that car.

The Cruiser experience with Clifford was kinda short (4 years), but my absense from that lineage won't last, I have my eyes on a 100-series. I just have to wait till I get moved and my commute is much shorter.
