Well, my main man LANDBRUISER from here on the board took pity on me, and hooked me up with one of his FJ55s(Thanks again Bro). It is a '72, and it needs a few items, so I thought I would see if anyone on here has any of this crap. I need a functional rear window motor assembly, backup lenses, a non-rusted-out license plate light, a tailgate handle, and like most of them, a buttload of small odds and ends. If anyone can help me out with any of this stuff, please respond, or shoot me a PM, whichever suits you. Thanks for reading!

Well once I buy my parts pig I will have some of that and maybe some of the bits you didnt mention. I also have a tailgate I could get the handle and maybe the license light as well. However it will take me a while I'm not around my cruiser right now.

Like most pig owners, I have several of those items but I really don't like to let go of any. The day will come when I will need them! Yea, I am a parts hoarder of the horde! ;p Just like pighead :D

OUCH! Cardinal Fang! That hurts! Sharper than a serpant's tooth...I may horde a bit, but I redistribute some too.

O.K. bitfreak420, I've got a rear window motor assembly, are you sure you need the whole thing? Usually it's just a loose connection or something that stops the window from working, the motors last a long time. I've got some back-up lights too...

Well, I'm pretty sure I need the whole assembly, since Landbruiser took the danged thing out before he sold me the rig. On the bright side, the window in his pig goes up and down nicely now...
Thanks for responding Pighead.

Now I feel guilty! :frown: I don't have any spare window motors. How about a rear heater?

Oh, missing the entire assembly? Yup, you need another one...
I have one. It's big & heavy & will be a real pain to ship.

I don't mean to thread hi-jack but...

I decied to look at my pig to see it had a rear window motor in it because the po showed me how to roll the window down and it was not by the flip of a switch.....nothing there. I have a door in the middle of my toyota stamp on the tail gate that I have to unlock and then it reveals a crank that I have to stick a piece of metal in and turn, if I only had a motor to install it should work right?

Um, Dude, I'm thinkin' No...
Sounds like you have a hand-crank rear window. I've never seen one in person, but I bet it's a completely different tailgate. Don't think you can just put a motor in it and make it an electrical window. It's kinda cool, in a non-USA way, though.
