got to pull and reseal the v8 in my65, mate it to the 4spd and get that in, rebuild the front end, find a good front seat and ignition switch with key and final welding on the axles. maybe driveshaft mods, we'll see.

What size tires did you get? Are those plain 'ol stock rims? Did you widen them at all? Set up looks great and is kinda what I am aiming for. Thanks for any input.
they're 35x12.5's on stock rims..not widened yet, i'd like to go a few inches eventually.

it looks pretty cool like that, i think its safe just to cruz around. but when you git round to widening the rims it'll sure be nice.

how wide will you go?? 8" 10"?? i think 9" would be a great width for 12.5 tires since your going custom. i wish i coulda got mine in 9"

Did you mount those yourself? I did not think many folks were running larger than a 10.5 wide tire on those rims and i thought some folks even advised against going to a 10.5 tire. Is it safe to drive as is? Those tires sure look cooool on those rims...
yep, mounted them myself. i will widen the rims as the bulge is a bit scary to look at ;) , but right now, money's not permitting and it will be a while before the pig moves anyway.
