Ok, so since I purchased this 60 that I am sure I will need help with in the future, I thought it would be right to let you guys (and gals) see her prior to anything I will do..... enjoy... Let me know what you think....

Very nice!! Need more details. Living in Asheville, I look forward to seeing it. Looks pretty stout right from the start.

Yeah, suprisingly so... For now it is gone to the muffler shop to have a gasket put on and some bolts tightened, but my list of things to do include working on the A/C Heater blower, for some odd reason those don't work, but eh, that's what windows are for right? I think the tires are a tad large for the lift ( I can't beleive I actually said that), so I may downsize those, and the steering needs some work but all in all it runs pretty great...... Also some interior pics...

Nono lad. You have it backwards. Keep the tires, up the lift.
What were you thinking?

Don't loose the tires, it looks good! How much lift and what size are the tires? And yes it looks like a good find.

Not sure on the lift size, but the tires are 33x12.50's, so I am thinking if I do the OME 2 1/2" Heavy or Medium it may look alot better.... But that takes wife convincing, and it was enough to convince to purchase the truck in the first place...

Oh, and I can't forget to show the progress of the FJ, this was when we had our snow, but the stuff had been on for about a month or so..... So we have the FJ and it's big brother the FJ-60 aka to my wife, the brown cow....

Yo GearGuywb, we need to get together and do some biking, I have not had the opportunity to enjoy the trails since we moved here, and I REALLY need to break out the bike for use, not just looks....

Was that FJ on the Asheville Craigslist a few weeks ago, more specifically, Leicester?

Great looking truck!

Looks good. Definitly need to get some of the 60's together in asheville.

How now.... ;) Looking good!

No the FJ was not on craigslist, had it since mile 7, and don't plan on selling it anytime soon, it resides primarily in south asheville, but not on craigslist.

TN Theta Spring '99 here, I started college however at Clinch Valley College (baseball scholarship) that is now UVA Wise, no fraternities there, but luckily I tore my rotator cuff and transferred to MTSU and became a SigEp...

I've flown with a couple of "kids" ;) from MTSU about your year. They went through MTSU's flight program and flew for commuters a couple years then got on with FedEx. They both grew up in Memphis. One guy's name is Brandon Lovell and the other I can't recall.

We had a couple that were in the Aircraft Maintainance program, and one guy was in aerospace pilot program, and I swear if I ever thought he was flying my plane I would jump out, his nick was Fred, and it fit. During my stay @ the SigEp house a large majority of us were ROTC guys, don't know how that worked but it did, so we had our share of Iraq vets from my chapter but I definately had some who were aerospace.....

Defintely not "Fred", Robby, I think!

We had about 30 guys from our chapter go into the service about the time I did, +or- a year. Most were pilots a few backseaters and one Army ground pounder! :) We had plenty over Iraq the first time! :D We even had a guy in the Marine bararacks in Beirut in '83 when that got attacked! He survived because he had been out checking his men out on the perimeter!

I just helped my old roommate get on a FedEx after he got furloughed from United. His daughter was born the first night of the Desert Storm - he had to evade a missle from a Mig that night!:steer::eek:

MTB'ing and Cruisers.

So, what's keeping us from doing some MTB this weekend? How about we meet at Hardtimes Trailhead at about 10:30 on Saturday. I have a really good route with most of the UP on FS roads, and all of the down on single track.
