So last week the day I never thought would come , came . I traded my FJ Cruiser in on a 17 4runner TRD PRO . I'm pretty happy with the choice.

Congratulations!

Is that salsa red?
Great looking truck!

There is a beige FJ Cruiser at my local dealer I am going to go poke at. What didn't you like about it?

thanx , the color is Barcelona Red Metallic . In general I loved it , but it was a bit inconvenient when it comes to the barn doors. mine was an 07 so it also had an shudder in the engine/trans that Toyota didnt feel the need to recall. It was great for wheeling

Nice. Love the TRD look with TOYOTA across the nose. If they made a TRD trim with all the Premium trim features, I would have bought one.

Isn't that the off road premium is supposed to be? Get leather and all the creature comforts with the off road goodies as well?

think I really like these sliders and might get the same. Do you know who made them? white knuckle?
I'll guess BudBuilt sliders..

If we're betting on sliders I say Allpro or who ever owns them now. Trail gear?

I dont know for sure , they look like the All Pro sliders with the kick out I had on my FJ , but with diamond plate on them too.

I test drove a new TRD OFF ROAD PREMIUM , I think the only difference is the suspension at least that is what Avy , and the salesman expressed to me.

The only difference I know of is that you can’t get KDSS on the TRD Pro because the fox shocks get put on at the port and the guys at the port dont want to or cant deal with the KDSS when putting on the fox shocks. I’m still not sure what’s the better option. I went with the ORP with KDSS but I think the Pro with it’s higher clearance would be preferred now that I’ve had mine out on some trails. 6 of one half a dozen of the other but the Pro is still king. Looks the coolest for sure.
