PIC REQUEST: Updating Looks on Black LX, cladding removed or slee shortbus and rear?

Hey guys, I'm looking to update the looks on my black pig but I'm not sure if I should go with clean stock or all out rugged. I don't off road her so it would be all for looks, I know....

Not sure if I should just paint and leave her clean stock or remove the cladding and flares to go all black or add Slee short bus and rear bumper. Either way I just want to update the looks, greatest truck in the world but it does look a bit dated and I plan on keeping her long term.

I guess the grocery getter comment turns people off I would go slee shortbus and rear bumper, that way she at least looks worthy... And then I can borrow her for my trips. J/k. If you end up not liking them then you can sell them here ( I would be in line )

I know, I've had the truck since I was 16, there is nothing I would rather drive but its a tool to me not a toy. That being said I love my tool and want it to represent itself proudly, for michigan winters and my farm its unbeatable, always gets me home. I've got it in tip top shape mechanically, I've had it for 13 years so I want to freshen up the looks as well.

The paint isn't as nice as it used to be, especially the hood which I know is common, but it isn't "bad" by any means. So either clean it up as stock or just say screw it and go all out. I would love to see a black LX with a shortbus, slee rear and some sliders. Or just clean stock with the cladding removed. Not sure which way to go, I know what it looks likes all stock obviously....

I personally think the flares look best on the darker colored vehicles.

I would say a cheap way to get it to mall cruiser status would be a TJM non winch front bumper, 4x4 labs rear bumper with no extra options, some bolt on sliders or OEM running boards. Still going to be around $2-2.5k for it all not installed. Damn that's a lot of $ to make it looks mean. 80's are already good looking stock IMO.
