they are from a 2002 ford explorer the center back seat (not the style of the house keepers ford in background of pick)

im not done with the installation or clean up so please excuse the mess

the chevelle motor is getting a 6.0 ls twin turbo then that project is complete

im using the zz4 creat motor thats in it as a donor motor for the fj

Nice 66!!! I had a 67 Chevy Shortbed Stepside I restored in the 90's. 327 cid muncie 4 spd. 373 posi trac. Engine bored .30 over with a crane cam, edlebrock high with a new quadrajunk carb later to a 850 holley, cyclone headers blah blah blah... Ran sweet though. Would burn 42 feet in 1st in front of my house. Miss that truck. What is your Chevelle running?

What is the width of those seats? I like the built in seat belt situation.

Sweet '66!

My dad had purchased a brand new '66 Impala SS, he was soo proud of that car, he had to wait for more than 6 months for it to be delivered from GM, but he then sold it in the early 70's to a friend of my grandfather's. The older gentleman kept that Impala SS up until the late 80's, and my dad kept trying to buy it back from him so my dad could restore it...wouldn't you know...the old jerk apparently sold it to a kid for parts instead of selling it back to my dad :mad::mad:

thanks ...i will get the width of the seats when i get home it has just enough room between the to to access without having to crawl over the side or the seat

yea i love the ss....i want to do more to the fj but the ss has got me a little burned on turning wrenches
