I'm looking to repair/replace parts for the driver's seat mounting bracket of this 77 FJ43. It's got the split bench seat, which I'd like to keep for now.

The left side (outer) seat rail used to be attached to the floor riser via a vertically oriented bracket that broke and now the seat rail is sitting on the riser, unsecured.

Does anyone have a picture of what the original configuration looked like at the riser?

Can anyone confirm which, if any of the Corbeau seat brackets would be a direct replacement? I bought the 73-79 bracket but it was too wide. Would the 70-73 bracket be the correct choice? Corbeau sent me some pics and dimensions of other FJ40 brackets but none of them seemed to be the correct size.

This is a SA rig so I'm unsure if the current configuration is using original mounting points (it appears so) and if that aligns with any of the Corbeau offerings.

If Corbeau isn't an option I'm open to replacing the seat rail or entire mounting bracket but just need to know what the equivalent year is, if any with NA models.

Pics below for reference. Thanks in advance for the help.

Mike,

Thanks for the reply. My riser bracket has the welded nut hole on the front, versus top of the bracket (it's kind of hard to see in my picture). So my seat rail had a metal strip that bent vertically 90 degrees and mounted to the front of the riser bracket. I'm not sure if this is how it was originally designed or if it was an improvised repair. It didn't look "factory".

It sounds like I need to take my seat apart and see if the seat rail can be mounted to the top of a bracket like you sent.

Seeing how these rigs seem to be a collection of parts from various years, I'm curious how the original configuration compares to what I have.
