I have heard nothing from him in over a month. I sent an initial email asking a question and then I put an order in a couple of weeks ago. I have sent three follow-up emails, a DM on Mud and another DM via his website, all have gone unanswered. I went ahead and canceled the order and got the clamps from McMaster Carr and will get the LEDs from Amazon. I hear he is a nice guy and I don't want to do that, I love supporting small business especially vendors on Mud. I get that there might be delays and it might be slower but you cannot run any business, side hustle or not, and have zero communication. I hope your experience is better.
 
Probably has something going on, he hasn't even been on Mud in 2 and a half weeks...
 
Yeah, I wondered that too and I hope there is nothing wrong. There was a post a month ago saying the same thing but that guy ended up getting his order.

I was about to make a post about this. He is also in Atlanta not far from me but I purchased an LED kit for my LX and all of my bulbs were a mix of blue, purple and real white. He said in his last email he would send out a new set for my troubles and that was months ago. I have sent a few follow up emails but nothing. I am thinking about just taking all of these out and finding another vendor that has a full interior LED kit for the LX. I always want to support local vendors but I think at this point I may look elsehwere.
 
Yeah...made an email inquiry and never did receive a response but I did go ahead and place my order and received it fast enough. Here's the transaction...the bulbs themselves were awesome

I also ordered at the end of January received an email saying it was in pre-shipment shipment on the 25th and has been in the same status since then. Hopefully everything is okay with him, I'll give it another week or so and see what happens. Having my own little side gig myself I understand how things can get pretty hectic and how things can be put on the back burner for a bit.
 
I placed an order on 2/17 and sent a couple emails and PM's to him with no response so far. I did receive an update via email saying the shipping label was printed, but that was over a week ago and nothing has shipped out. Last activity seen from him on ih8mud was 2/15.

What clamps did you get? I was looking at doing this myself as I want to put some around the back bumper as well.

Which clamps from McMaster Carr did you get?
 
I went to see exactly what was in his kit. They sell so many clamps but I checked and rechecked several times and these are the same ones in the kit. The also do overnight shipping standard, at least to the midwest.

I can put together a list of interior LED bulbs / panels to buy (e.g. Amazon, ebay) if anyone interested. It's pretty generic stuff for 100 series, GX, 4Runner.

Hope PFRAN comes back, he has always sent stuff fast and usually some extra bulbs.

Update:
This should be correct to put together a interior LED kit. Even with buying a lot of extra bulbs from Amazon, think it cost me $25 and could kit at least 2 vehicles.

The 48 SMD LED Panels should come with the festoon adapters. I'm not positive if you need to use the shorter version of the T10 Wedge bulb (red in photo), but it might be safe since the map light assembly is smaller. If something looks wrong here, please let me know and I can update.

Thanks, that will be a huge help. I am slammed currently with work and preparing for a trip to Death Valley recently so you can see why I REALLY needed those clamps before I drive 4K miles. I did find these as a start, no idea if they are good or not. His clamps are the exact same ones from McMaster Carr which I posted up the links above. He was just putting them together in a kit and sending them out. Now for whether or not those are better than run-of-the-mill worm clamps, I don’t know. I do know that a lot of people of use these clamps and have had very very good success with them as far as sealing, corrosion, etc....

The worm gear clamps that he offered and are also available from McM have rolled up/soft edges so as to prevent cutting the boot.
