So in most my cars it is normal for me to upgrade my ECU mapping. I was researching what is available for the LC. I came across these two and they look identical to me based on description of the product:

Unichip - 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser tuning chip | car tuning

https://www.amazon.com/Innovative-P...50-89-4-0&sr=1-3&ymm=2009:toyota:land+cruiser

Here is the pdf of the Dyno graph from UniChips website:
http://www.unichip.us/system/uploads/assets/Dyno Sheets/5.7L Tundra Dyno Stock.pdf

If I am reading the Dyno correctly it shows a gain of 5 RWHP and 20 RWTQ. If the Innovative chip is same as unichip, for $69 it doesn't sound too bad? They both claim to give same power increase and descriptions are nearly the same.

See video and award for uniChip:

The only Amazon review for it says it doesn't work...

I don't think you will ever notice 5 hp difference. For that little, I wouldn't risk any warranty you have left.

An ECU tune is one modification I would never do. Wheels, tires, YES, LEDs - YES, exhaust - if you want it, but not the ECU.

Here is the link for Tundra chip with 50% 5 star rating. This product could be a dud, I woudn't doubt it. I thought I would see what others thought.

My warranty expired some time ago, so that's not an issue. I have had good luck with BMW and MBs with ECU tuning but don't know how I feel about messing with my Toyota.

If it where me, I wouldn't touch the ECU on a vehicle I take far from civilization replacing an ECU that has been tested and corrected through out the worlds terrains/environments on something that may give me a few extra horses that has little pedigree.

I would instead focus on Exhaust upgrades. When I swapped out my Headers on my 100 and then the Cat Back Exhaust, I noticed an improvement

That is just me though

This is the most powerful petrol Land Cruiser ever built for the commercial market.
