Remember when I posted earlier about the weird gas tank I had that I couldn't find a fitting for? Turns out the previous owner was just really good with a lathe and made a very good coupler that comes right off. The tank is perfectly fine, no rust, but I already bought and painted a new one so someone is gonna get an early model FJ40 gas tank out of 1969 for free including the fuel line and fittings and the sending unit. Here's the catch.
The tank still has a tiny bit of fuel in it, so you will need to come and get it. Bring a truck because I'm also asking whoever takes the tank to take the two bucket seats I have, one of them still has the complete drivers side bracket attached, when they come. The tank is currently installed in my rig so it will take us about 30 minutes to relocate it into your pickup bed, but for the first person that can make it to the st Louis area, it's free to a good home.
