The housing took some abuse on the last ROTM and needs to be replaced. White would be great, but can rattle can it if needed. Prefer an entire assembly if possible.

Funner, if you can't find one local, cruiserparts.net might have one in white.

arcteryx here on MUD sells used parts for 80s

good guy, fast shipping

Thanks for the reply's. The aftermarket mirrors on Amazon and fleabay are pretty tempting. I would like to get an OEM, but the likelihood of getting one that isn't all shaky or becoming shaky fast is probably nil.
Moral dilemma, used likely wobbly mirror or cheaply made new chinese mirror bolted to my rig creating some type of galvanic corrosion that slowly eats away at my 80....The horror:skull:

Funner, the housing itself is wobbly, or just the glass part of the mirror?

The exterior housing broke and a large piece is now missing. I have already had to fab up repairs for the entire mirror shaking, then later the glass/motor shaking. I am afraid I have repaired that mirror to its limits. The shaky reference was thrown in because I assume most used 80 mirrors will likely come with a broken or soon to be broken mounting ear thingamabob that will require repair.

the Rug Road takes and the Rug Rod gives!

Well worth it though.
