^ if by chance you have an 18" with wind screen I'd entertain a trade for my 'luxe 22" (w/spressoFAB SS levelers, wind screen supports and additional SS grate rods).

I do not have either size and have be vacillating on which size to go with, but since I plan on having this on a double pullout below my fridge (fridge comes out so far and then the stove underneath extends further) I figured I should just go with the larger 22".

Curious why you are looking for an 18 over your 22...

Edited - wrong person.

oilbrnr: If you use larger pans (~12" diameter pans) the 22" is very nice (relative to small burners ;)). However the past year or so I've, thanks to Onur/beno & Cruiserdrew forging new territory for our little explore group, incorporated the Chef King 12"x20" steel griddle for most of what I used to use for saute/frying/and more. The burner spacing on the 22" is a little wide for optimal heat spread for a griddle. The 16" and 18" burner spacing (nearly the same burner spacing as the larger 3-burner 26" PS stove) is more conducive for griddle use...making for more even temperature range across the griddle (especially the void area between the burners apart of the 22").

The 22" is much easier to use with two pots. It also has a unique grate that allows you to place smaller items (like a mug) directly over the burner with full support underneath. I personally use a 22" and haven't had any problems using the Partner Steel griddles (they are extremely heavy duty so they retain and spread heat a little better than some I've used).

Geez, now I'm more confused! Since my ARB fridge is 33x18, I could easily fit the 26" three burner CP underneath it and be able to use various griddles, though I was looking at the two Lodge reversible units. One is 16.75x9.5 and the other is 20x10.5.

I like the 18 CP since it as the windscreens, but I have the room for the 26 which doesn't have the wings unless specially ordered I'm assuming. The half inch difference in height between the two is kinda moot...

I've got both in stock. The 18" and 22" do have built in wind screens but you are correct, the 26" does not. There is no off-the-shelf windscreen available for the 26" but it is definitely something I can custom order for you (would be the same design as the screens on the 18" and 22"). It sounds like that might be a good option for you so please let me know if you'd like a price on that.

Not a problem. I will get back to you tomorrow.

I just sold my, basically new, 26" 3-burner with griddle (ordered it with the windscreen and closer grid spacing). It was great to cook over, using either griddle (2 or 3 burner) or pots/pans. If you have cargo space it gets my vote for best and most versatile In the Partner Steel mix of stove offerings.

Please, I'm interested in the 26. Thanks!

Don,

I can get you a 3-burner with windscreen for $325. Please call the shop if you'd like to order. 866-791-7575.

^ that's a very good deal!

On the Partner Steel 9" double burner, is there a wind screen available for it ?
Also, on folded size one page says 6"x12"x9" while the other page says 6"x12"x8" ?

Sorry for the late response, I somehow missed your message here. The 9" does not have a windscreen available due to how it folds over on itself. Sorry for the typo - when folded it is 6x12x9. When unfolded it is 3x12x18.

Anymore Partner Steel deals coming up?
X2 I'm thinking its about time to trade in my old coleman.

Sorry guys, no sales on stoves planned right now. Might be able to offer a shipping discount if you're interested.
