mine was also a snug fit at the tailgate area.. you probably have the bows set up propperly.. you just have to take your time and caress the canvas.. BE the canvas.. the warmer the canvas the more it will stretch.. start from the front atnd work your way back pulling out all excess slack u can.. every inch counts.. when u get all the material stretched to the back.. then attach the footman loop straps on the tailgate BEFORE trying to zip closed the back door.. you'll notice how much the fabric will pull down when u loop it thru the footman loops.. just be patient and i bet you can make her fit..

when the top is tight like that it's much easier to zip up if u do it after u strap it.. less stress on the zippers that way.. and DON'T use pliers on the zipper you WILL break it sooner or later.

X2 Give It time the canvas will stretch,

A 1/2" Mine started about 3" from the tail gate

My top sat in a box in a hot las vegas garage for almost a year shrunk quite a bit It stretched out perfectly.
After that I have had It out in the rain once that actual tightened back up and actually fits better now.

Loosen up the Bow's let them contract inward much as possible but don,t remove the bolts I worked the inner velcro wrap around the rear door bow above the tail gate just catch as much Velcro as you can and let It rest come back the next day get a little more just little by little

Good Luck Joe C

Gotcha I will "caress the canvass" and "be the canvas" soon. I've had this top on for about two months now or whenver that last Ehsan order came in but mostly have had the sides rolled up.

I tried to flip the smaller rear upright around today and it didn't do anything to fix the problem. I think the main thing is the left rear corner. It isn't wraping all the way around like the right side. The seam falls too far forward on the side versus the rear. It looks like the bow maybe is bending to far out...not sure going to have to investigate further this weekend. Kind of a pain in the ass.

Thanks Voyager! I screwed around with the top and the smaller rear uprights the other day with no luck and got fed up. I just haven't had the time to jack with it in the last couple days. I usually drive the truck with the sides rolled up(I live in San Diego) so it's not a huge deal and I'll get around to it when I get settled back from Christmas. Gonna probably get one of my buddies to help me out and the heating and gradual stretching methods sound the most sensible. I've really got to get the left rear corner to come around first and then I think everything will be better lined up to bring the rear back down. Will update in a couple weeks.
