Thanks Trekker

I am having the same problem Larry. It was looking like the top was about an 1.5 inches to short. Using the information provided by Trekker, I just measured 1230mm from the tub to the top of the rear bow. I will try to adjust today and post up results.

Thanks,
Vince

There is adjustment in many places. Start first from the windshield frame. Loosen a couple of bolts on the hinges and then loosen the windshield from the inside on both sides. Now adjust the frame a bit backwards and tighten it in place.
you can adjust the bows lengthe at 3 places.
1 - At the place where the front over-the-door bow bolts to the A pillar.
2- Where the side bow bolts to the A Pillar and
3 - Where the side bow bolts to the rear bow.
Combined, these can shorten the bows by almost an inch. Try this before cutting the rear bow.

Thanks for the info. But my rear curtain supports are not touching the tub due to the cage being in the way of the stock mounting location on the fender well. The rear curtain supports need about 20mm before they meet the tub.

For the standard or b type soft top you don't even need those pieces. I wouldn't install that bar that is 20mm away or the rest of those pieces. All you need in a standard or b type OEM softtop is the cage support.

That would solve one problem. The top still is a little short. I hope I am able to adjust the top using the steps Eshan provided before I think about trimming the rear bow legs.

I will post some pics in some time (an hour or so) Might help

A couple of pics showing the adjustment in the holes. You can see they are ovoid, allowing the bolt to be tightened anywhere along its length.

I had some success. Following Eshan's and Wes's advice the top is fitting better. I removed the rear curtain support and addjusted the three locations pointed out by Eshan.

In the second photo you can see I still need alittle more of the top to come down. I am seeing if the sun can warm the material up an help me accomplish this.

Eshan this is an excellent product.

Looks good! :) The sun or warmer weather definatly helps putting on any softtop.

I wish we had oversized tires available here in Pakistan. Would have loved some on my 4x4.

Sounds like we need to start shipping tires in exchange for tops to Pakistan....

And to double post...

I want one too, but my wallet/wife doesn't... :o

It will happen in the future....
