My two older brothers will be leaving in the next few months, one is going into the marines and the other is going out for seals.

Both have FJ60's that will be left sitting for a long time and unfortunately i cant convince anyone to hold on to them. I'd buy them out but i think a 40 and an 80 are enough right now.

We want to sell them as a pair but it's not vital.

1. 1986 FJ60(red) - Original owners, very rusty, 305k on the original 2F. Still runs decent but would probably serve best as a parts truck.

2. 1986 FJ60(white)- 150k miles. Small rust spot on roof and rear tailgate has rust, all quarters and rockers are totally rust free. all stock. Runs good but will need some general maintenance work.

Selling as a pair for $ 7,500k. New price - $5,000

I fully intend to put this in the for sale section of MUD but wanted to let the local guys know first.

Damn, I wish I had the cash and space.

I just sent this out to the list.

I wish you all the best on this Brandon..............

Unfortunately as I have lately experienced the 60 market unless heavily modded and in great shape just isn't very good at the moment.

Good luck.

Willing to sell individually? If so, how much for each?

Felix, I Pm'd you back

FWIW:

Red one- Has rust issues and an old motor, it drinks oil but still reliable.

White one- Good body, but brakes need work, probably new fan clutch, other general maintenance.

Brandon,

I have a fan with clutch from a 60 that you can have for Rusty if you want it.

So you're making nicknames for them already huh?

I'd definately take you up on it if you're alright with that, i'll pm you.

Update:

The owner of the red one is gone for atleast a year and the 60 is just sitting in our driveway. If someone doesnt take it soon i'm sure it will have a sad ending and just get towed away.

If i had time it would be a fun project but i dont. It would probably need a jump but it does still run and drive. MAKE OFFER

Multipule pm's sent reflecting the evolution of my thoughts on the matter throughout the day, from initial hair-brained schem to pre- and than post-spousal discussion.

Just emailed update to CLCC list

Ok, these both are now sitting and no one has time to give them attention unfortunately.

Trying to sell the white one asap - $3500
