Anyone know of a good place to find Nightshadow Pearl (8KO Factory code) in a spray can. I have noticed that Duplicolor has it listed on its website, but that option is a last resort. Paint Scratch and some of the better sites have never heard of it. I fixed some rust above the right rear well and would very much like to paint it myself. Any guidance appreciated.

Some larger automotive paint stores have the ability to make up custom spray-packs. They have aerosol cans with a propellent charge and they add the color. You will likely have to get a minimum number of cans for this. This is a two-stage paint and will require a clear as well.

Thanks Dan. I hear you sell parts. What is your website url?

Go to the vendors section of this forum and there is a sticky link on how to get ahold of him. He works at a Toyota Dealership, so his parts are OEM Toyota. Much better than working with a local dealer.

Thanks Romer. I have been buying locally and from Specter, but I would prefer to support people on this thread board, as they are always very helpful.

Yeah, Dan's a great guy. I got some parts from him last week and he was super to work with. Hope to see them today...

Paintscratch.com does have this color available (Dark Blue Pearl Metallic Clearcoat 8K0) but not for the 95 you have listed in your sig. It is available for the 1996 LC. You can get the spray can for about $30 plus shipping. I have not used them, but have heard they make about the best replacement paint available.

Hope that helps.

Pat,

Your color code is eight-kay-zero [ 8K0 ]
You typed eight-kay-oh [ 8KO ]
