Paint Shops in San Antonio, TX

Hello,

Recently moved to San Antonio, TX and looking for any recommendations on good paint shops that will repaint my 1994 LC factory red. Would like to keep it under 7k, but with the crazy inflation these days don’t really know what they charging.

As others have recommended I will take of all the lights, accessories, and trim to limit the overspray.

Master Autobody in Houston is amazing if you're willing to run it over - ask for Victor.... they're amazing although in a non-descript location... they're one of the few shops certified to repair the matte Merc and BMW's...... they did a widebody w/ flares on my old C63 and it was flawless.... and they're very familair with 80's having done my hood scoop/ vents and flare redo's etc... and hit the Desert Dune spot on.

they're incredibly reasonable for the quality and can do anything you can think of...... they do a few SEMA builds a year. Worth giving Victor a call to discuss - he's done a dozen 80's, 100's and 60's/ 40's this year I'd bet so he'll have ballpark #'s off the top of his head if you can send him pics...

I'm in the Houston area and was watching this thread. Can I ask what service you got and what you paid for. I need a new paint job from scratch.

I'll end up calling probably but I'd love to have the info.

I've had a dozen car /trucks done at master in the past 8 years - from a rear end-ed C63 that we wide bodies in a matte paint to LC's ( 100-200, multiple 80's) they've done repaints of panels/ flares, snorkel installs, scoops/vents and misc .... on my wife's G63 they did a rear bumper respray on a matte paint and hit it spot on...(only to have the truck rear ended and totalled out a month later)

They also did a almost full respray on my HJ45..... we stopped just short of a frame off as I sold the project midway....but they wrapped it up for the new owner and it looked aamazing.

What separates Victor and his team is that they often find ways to save me money or offer other options /ideas I hadn't thought of....and their attention to detail is amazing - despite their scrappy facility setting...
