Soliciting recommendations for a good paint shop. I need to get my hood repainted.

Thanks

Bodyworks by R&C does a lot of insurance and OEM work for Toyota and Lexus.

Probably not the cheapest option out there, but they definitely used high quality stuff (PPG line), and had a lot of Toyota bubble wrap lying around there when we decided to let them paint Dad's 40.

I would second Dan's recommendation. A guy ran into my wife's door on the Highlander a while back, and R&C was recommended by the Toyota dealer. It was covered by insurance and it looks good as new. If you're paying yourself, (as Dan mentioned) there are likely cheaper options, but I'm sure they would do a good job for you. They're on Central, just west of Juan Tabo, on the north side of the street.

I just called R&C.. first guestimate is $450, but that is only if it is only minor clear cut warring. Anything else will jump up the price. I'm also going to check in with Quanz, and another 1-2 shops. I definitely do not need show room quality, as it will likely get scratched and messed up again soon, so I don't want to end up paying a ton for it.

Maybe I'll just put some tinted saran wrap on it, and call it a day.

I would avoid Quanz.
