Hi all,
Been having some trouble sourcing some new O2 sensors for my truck post head gasket failure. They got all fouled up and are not responding properly.

Based on my order history for the truck, I thought I needed NTK 24044 and 24080.

I ordered both, and the NTK 24080 looks like the right part. However, finding the NTK 24044 is quite hard these days. I ended up ordering one from autoplicity, put it looks like the wrong part. The one I received is a screw in type, rather than the type my 93 requires that has the flat flange with two bolts to secure it do the exhaust.

Curious if anyone knows if NTK changed anything... I am having a hard time finding any part number other than 24044 on this box. I guess it could just be mislabled?

I just ordered a second NTK 24044 from lmperformance(the only place I could find it) and am hoping to got it isn't the same POS part I got from autoplicity.

Best,
Chris

Well, Looks like lmperformance doesn't actually have them, they said in stock and now my order has been changed to "needs to be fulfilled".

If anyone knows where to find this sensor....

In the future look to @NLXTACY he has some for OBD2 Land Cruisers, but if you dig around you can find his article about re-pinning the O2 sensor using your original plug.

I ordered my sensors from advanced auto parts online. Signing up for their stupid spam gave me an additional xxx% off. I don’t remember how much exactly. But they had both and they both shipped quickly.

I hope so? Came from toyota overstock parts.
They don’t have them. They’ll refund your money or not charge you at all. I don’t know why they haven’t removed NLA parts from their site. It’s misleading and wastes time.

So I'm guessing my Toyota overstock order will be canceled -- and after phoning the dealer, it is TRUE that Toyota does not have any left.

Looks like I need to do the conversion above. thank you for linking that.

Another reason to own a 95-97.

Not a good reason to own a OBDII. Just buy the ntk ones. They’re still very available.

The original reason I posted this, is because I am having lots of trouble finding a NTK 24044. Would love to know where to get it. I also ordered my last set from advance auto parts(still under warranty!!!) but they have none left.

NTKs are B/O.

Buy 2x of Denso 234-4520. Good for both sides. Inside the box is a NTK OEM Toyota 89465-60051

Are they long enough? The reason I ask, is because the 24044 from NTK has a much longer wire than the 24080. Not sure if this denso is the same as 24080 from NTK, but if it is, it probably too short. Did you run these two with success?

Also wanted to re-mention this is for a 93. I thought I would have to do plug surgery in order to use a denso part?
