Cool Stan, how long have you been waiting for it to turn 25? I need some overload springs like those. What is shipping gonna cost ya?
 
Shipping would be more than I'd pay. And I don't think '77 springs would fit on my '65. But thanks, I can just get some overloads made here at a local spring shop.

I don't exactly know how much, I haven't wanted to depress myself, but I have an idea.

I guess I could say I've been waiting since December. I really didn't care when I was driving it around. I've owned it for 2 years, it was my main transportation.

Those springs aren't the smoothest, unless you put about a ton in the back.

They'll fit with different pins and bushes...not if you don't want them tho;)

hey all..just picked this up today...will be asking questions and such for some time..vin is fj4520425.

Here is mine. It is a 78 LWB with a 2F, 79 front axle with discs. It is at the paint shop right now.

if ya dont mind tellin, how much did ya get it for. we talk to dales son about it and were going to purchase it but the asking price was 10,000!! so we walked away :(
 
5k with taxes out the door..so was like 4400....but still 5k......yes...350 in it. from what i can see,they didnt tear up to much in it to install the 350...runs really good too...only 33,700 on odometer.

Got to love it. That is just so I acn drive it on to the trailer so that she can go to the paint shop. It's stripped down to the tub now and is sand blasted.

yea..almost no rust through..smallish spot in drivers side floor...nothing in roof or corners and none in cab corners or door sill area...bed has a couple small spots on cross fram sills..but thats it......paul
