I have some good news to past an future customers. If you think the lights are too bright and want something closer to the stock lights, all you have to do is turn the lights to face upward instead of directly downward.
I tested this theory out this evening after @92LXAZ sparked the idea.
Here are the regular lights
Here are the same lights facing up
Here is a light on one of the brackets facing up.
The install is a tiny bit more difficult as you lose some finger room with the light facing up. It's still a 20-30 min job though.
Since this worked so well, I'll no longer offer the 6 LEDs as they were just as bright as the 10.
I won't bend the brackets the opposite direction either. The way I look at it, with the lights facing up, they're shielded from rocks no matter what. Then if you want to switch to having them facing down, you still get the bends that shield them.

Didn't read thru the whole thread...do these fit the LC or LX only?

Right now I can only confirm that they fit the lx.
These bolt to the frame where the AHC bolts on and it seems land cruisers don't have the same bolt holes. I'm working on a solution for the lc guys though. Hopefully I can get something worked out soon.
Loving the look of the 10 light facing up. Please switch me to the 10 from the 6. I know you said no more 6x but I'm on the list as a 6 light and wanted to confirm. How far out are you shipping these days?

It's also inevitable that people drop out when it comes time to contact them, so it should move relatively quickly.
I have seriously considered buying a newer truck to have these plugs... I think someday I'll just run new splices from my dome light though. Great product, hope to buy someday

I'm actively figuring out how to get these to work on a LC. It will inevitably take more work since the wiring/plug isnt already there, but I think I can still make relatively simple.
Has anyone tried these with their running boards still on, yet? Wife and kid means boards stay on for the time being.

I'm unsure if anyone has but I have no reason to think these wouldn't work with them on. Hopefully someone can chime in and answer that though.

Good to know. My lights should work with runningboards on, but if you want to keep the board lights plugged in AND the new lights you'll need a y adapter or to spice. These would surely overppower the running board lights though.

Wish I could like this twice! I've got bigger fish to fry at the moment, so I'll leave you to it. I'll definitely watch the thread for developments. Keep up the good work!
Sooo ... Ramazon delivered yesterday ...
For anyone on the fence ... this product is awesome ... pull the trigger!! @Ramathorn15 did a great job on both design and execution. Install was easy and as advertised. Fit and finish is excellent.
A few install notes/observations:
- I had to use a breaker bar to get off my 12mm bolts. No big deal, but I couldn't turn my smaller ratchet.
- I had to switch between a regular and deep socket wrench. The deep socket wrench was easier to use once the metal mounting bracket was on.
- make sure your electrical is routed properly (thru slider mounts or whatever else before you anchor down the second light)
It's almost dark here in Colorado ... waiting to go out and play with my UFO landing lights ...

Glad you like them Duncan! Cute kid! I could use an assistant. Maybe I'll second think the whole having kids thing. Are you bringing the family to HIH this year?
