I just found this post and gotta say I'm interested in a set...Do you figure you will be selling these thru your site or just on mud? I'll drop you an email thru your site to see what the next step is.

Been watching this thread for a while now and would be ready to buy anytime you have a set you can ship. I've got a professional welder friend so if just purchasing brackets and sourcing the 2x6s locally is an option I'd be up for that as well.

Love the stealth look. My friend with a GX470 has a really sleek looking non-traditional sliders that are similar in style and stealthy look. Price is perfect

I’m interested in a set. Any chance of getting them before the end of September?

Sign me up sure buyer here just waiting for go signal and official order link. Do we have maybe a list that @Ramathorn15 can keep track to make things easier for him how many sets he is looking to fab for us here in mud to the least?

I’m in for a set. In PDX currently so too far but will be in PHX in December so could do a short road trip for a pickup then.

Working on a new way to weld the caps on the ends of the 2x6. The way I was doing it took about 2 hours to grind smooth per set. The new caps will likely have visible welds, but I'm working to make them look as clean as possible.

On a related note, my original prices were based on January's metal prices. It was about 80¢/lbs then. Now it's over double that. That doesn't mean the price will double, but it will definitely go up some. Going to start ordering metal as soon as I get these caps figured out, then I'll know a true price.

This is looking more promising. Took about 30 min per end vs an hour. I also learned from @89BIGBLUE that sharp edges aren't great for powder coating, so this would likely hold it better.

I agree. Same reason why ARB developed their “summit series” and rounded up the edges so powder coat is more resilient from cracking in the long run (apart from making it difficult for copy cats to manufacture/fabricate).

These look great! Definitely interested in a final price when you get it!
powder coat question: are you limited in color or could you match mine? It’s the two-tone, top is 4M9 Cashmere Beige, bottom color is listed on importarchive as UC46.

Side note: got your brackets and mounted up the courtesy/rock lights and people love it. PO saw it and wanted to buy the truck back! 😂

Hey @Ramathorn15 been watch this thread for awhile with quite a bit of anticipation. Love the final design! Have you considered using greyhound as a shipping method? I haven't personally used them but know some folks who have for heavier/bulkier items. It's slow but reasonable priced I believe.

The company I work for uses greyhound to deliver between a few of our Distribution Centers and certain stores.
