So I see no problems with gassin' it to the top on front wheel dig!

I'm getting stoked about this....it's gonna be freakin awesome as it alway has been! Rick has done an awesome job on the t-shirt design....giddy up!

It better not be. I cut a ride short once up there because of the rain. Golden Showers is a miserable place.

I have my fingers crossed for dry weather. It's been raining like crazy here in Charleston - except for the past few days. Hopefully it's dry and sunny! If we can't have that, I will settle for rideable :)

Just bring a raincoat and we can take turns running 1 and 2 in the open/open sami with the top and doors off! :steer:

This statement makes it seem like you've never been there when it rained.
I'm pretty sure you have though.
IT SUCKS! And that easy trail is no longer easy!
I'm pretty sure that one bad rain day during ACC's ride was Lorena's Door's "Last Stand"... I think I took them off after that and never put them back on. Cause they wouldn't latch.
Leaving glass offerings at the bottom of "glass god tree"

Oh yeah, I know how terrible it is when it rains, and "running 1 and 2" might have been a bad way to put it, mostly just go over behind the track and run that flat section of 2 from the entrance over to the pavilion and slide around in the mud. There will be no going down the hill on 2 or around and up 1 on the back side of the park. Just sliding around where it is mostly flat.

If I recall, there was actually one time we were all there and it rained so bad you couldn't even go up the hill from the bottom on 2... Sooooo... Hopefully it won't rain. As Rick said, it's waaaayyyy to early to have any accurate forecasting right now. They can get pretty close within a day or two but not a week plus.

As I always say, expect the worst and hope for the best.

I am… heading up before traffic on Friday. Hoping to hit the road at 6:30… how about you?

Gotta work Friday. Plan is to leave really early on Saturday (like 5:30-6) so I'll get up there hopefully in time for the morning run. Prob gonna crash sat night and head back early Sunday.

Sounds like a plan! see you then.

Bad news gents. I cannot attend. I was hoping to get out of work but alas it did not come to fruition.

Since i might be the first one up there, are we staying at the same pavilion we normally stay at? One by the small pond?
