outwards dent in door!!

I noticed when winding up my drivers window last week, it would make a grinding noise at the very bottom and also when you went up from the bottom possition, it would make the same noise, onthe the 1st 3 inches did it grind.

The noise has now stopped but I can now see there is a dent coming outwards as if you have hit the door skin from the inside, has anyone heard of anything falling off inside the door panel and jamming up and that could cause it to hit the door skin and do an outward dent

I thought my Mal was big... he looks like a pup compared to that dog! What does he weigh?


PS, no I haven't. But I imagine the slider/track assembly has come loose or something similar, pulling the door panel isn't really that hard, and would yield positive identification rather quickly.

pull the panel and see what you can see in there.
